Subway stations are not usually the first place you think of when it comes to beauty and art. However, over the years, many cities around the world have turned their subway stations into works of art and transformed them into some of the most beautiful underground spaces.

One such station is Stockholm’s Solna Centrum station in Sweden. Designed by artist Per Olof Ultvedt, this station is a perfect example of how to turn a mundane space into an awe-inspiring work of art.
