Exploring the Forgotten: Abandoned Hospitals with Rich Histories
Urban explorers are always on the lookout for abandoned buildings with a rich history. One of these often overlooked places is the forgotten hospital. These hospitals were once filled with patients, doctors, and nurses but now they stand empty and silent. In this article, we will explore some of the most interesting abandoned hospitals that have been left behind.
Our first stop is the Kings Park Psychiatric Center located in Long Island, New York. The center was opened in 1885 with the aim of providing treatment to mentally ill patients.
